First Boston, now West, Texas.

MAJOR explosion at a fertilizer plant there. The town looks like it's been leveled. The photos of the explosion look like a scene from Threads. Many dead. Horrible. This is a far worse disaster than Boston and it's barely getting national television coverage. Only CNN and ABC's Nightline have anything.

WWJW, are you still in that area? How are you guys doing? Praying for everyone. :(

We're fine, thanks. :)

GA and I live south of Waco, and the explosion was north of it. Hubby said he felt the tremor while he was at work, which makes sense since it is also north of here. (But not in the town of West.)

I feel so bad for all those people. Can't imagine what they're going through right now.

Very glad to hear it. A friend of mine from high school lives just north of Waco with her family, and I haven't heard anything yet.

It got huge coverage on the ABC over here in Oz. Awful thing to happen. Those poor folks.

I feel so sorry for people in America right now - two such awful disasters in a week must be frightening. Some amazing sories of bravery from both Boston and West.

The only good news out of Texas right now is the death toll is lower than originally reported. 15, not 70.
