LOL.

I'm a "mean girl" at the Jeremy Renner board at imdb.com. Just because I don't think Jeremy is a perfect human being. Please. I've never met the man, but I can still see he's got flaws just like anyone else. I don't see him as this saintly prince that some of those girls do.

I hope his career isn't about to stall. It's sounding as if he's not going to be a part of either The Avengers 2 or Mission: Impossible 5. If that's true, I'm not going to see either of them.

That's really disappointing - and shortsighted - about MI 5 and Avengers 2. Over here in Oz they did a survey in the most popular newspaper about favourite Avengers. Iron Man won, comfortably, but clearly second and a long way beyond anyone else was Hawkeye. I think people could relate to him - and he has such a cool skill!

As for MI5 - the Ethan/ Will chemistry was what made it! Well, the chemsitry with the whole team. Is this Tom Cruise's ego getting in the way again? Does he not understand that it was Jeremy, and Paula, and Simon, and not necessarily his running down the building schtick that won people over?

Sigh.

I don't think Jeremy is a prince. I think he's interesting, original, talented and principled. I also think he's subject to all the flaws any man is subject to.

Yeah, there's a reason MI:3 fizzled a bit and MI:GP was a smash. It was the supporting players. The Will/Benji humorous bits made it so much better.

I'm seeing a lot of hate for Jeremy right now on various message boards. The ohnotheydidnt community here is especially horrible. I stopped posting there because it.

Jeremy needs to talk to his agent and PR lady ASAP. His "disappointment with Hawkeye" interview was taken out of context, and should not be seen by Marvel as saying he wants out. He doesn't.

Plus he needs the money for his baby. ;)
