Yay! Most of who I wanted to win, won! Helen Mirren looked good. I hope I look half that good when I'm that age. She was very classy with her speech. I was a little surprised that Alan Arkin won over Eddie Murphy, but not disappointed. Little Miss Sunshine is still my favorite film of 2006. I'm going to pick up a copy of the Best Picture winner, The Departed, tomorrow. I'm glad Martin Scorcese finally won as director, though it was 26 years too late (he should have won for Raging Bull).

The show was a little boring in some places. Ellen DeGeneres was a good host, but she wasn't anywhere near as funny as Jon Stewart last year. The bit with Al Gore and Leonardo diCaprio was funny. The Dreamgirls medley was great (Jennifer Hudson is awesome!), and I can't believe that none of the songs won. Oh, well.
