I am le tired, and so is my voice.

The carol service went pretty well. Our music sounded good, and the kids were adorable. But it was too darn long! Two hours. There was just too much stuff to sing. I have no voice left! I sang in a quartet at the regular service this morning, too. I got a lot of compliments.

Now all I have to worry about is the Christmas Eve service- fortunately, we're repeating some of the music from today's service.

Two more days until Spamalot! Squee!

When I lived in England, I sang for candlelight carol services, 2 on each night (and I can't remember how many nights - or did we sing 3 services?) and when I would blow my nose, it would come out GRAY from all the soot. But the church was beautiful, lit entirely by the candles. But still, *cough cough*! One year I had a cold and could scarcely sing anything - but all my friends from uni were coming to see me, and I didn't want to disappoint them (or, heh, let them get away with skipping it.) So I stood up there and lip-synced.
