I hate insomnia.

It's one a.m., and I can't sleep.

Dreading my birthday on Saturday. I'm another year closer to 40. *eek*

Had fun looking through You Tube clips today...but found stuff that made me feel old. I put them here:

If anyone else on my f-list remembers this stuff, I won't feel so old after all! :p

Aww, don't dread your birthday. And there's nothing magically bad about 40. Not that I know much about that, being only 30, but after all, Ralph Fiennes is in his 40s, and guhhhhh... so beautiful. But I feel a lot better about getting older now that I'm 30. I hated turning 20, and I was depressed turning 30, but I think I feel better now, more content with the inevitability of getting older.

I loved 3-2-1 Contact! And I liked Electric Company, but I don't remember it quite as well. It was more what my older brothers and sisters watched. My siblings and I (5 of us scattered across the country) recently watched and emailed a bunch of those YouTube vids with each other, and it was really fun, and funny! Especially remembering some of our favorite episodes and seeing them again (like "The Bloodhound Gang", remember them??? "The Case of the Cackling Ghost!" I was soooo excited to see that again, and I remembered it so very vividly. That thing was the scariest creepiest episode EVER, and I loved it when I was a kid. I think I only saw it twice, but I still remembered it in such great detail.) And it was funny to see things that had adult humor in them that as little kids we wouldn't have understood, but that we understand now. Like the "Six Dollar and 39 cent Man," hee.

Don't forget - you'll be one year closer to 100 as well ;)

No need to worry about your age. What matters is what you do with your life.

Long past 40! Don't worry about it in the least. I have had a better life since I turned 40 than before.
