I've tried changing settings, and the pictures are STILL blurry. Maybe the camera is just dying...

Update- I may just have to fiddle with the settings every time I take a picture. I just took a few that turned out fine, and others that were terrible. I'll have to look through the manual to see what else I can do. Somehow, I messed up my default settings yesterday, and I don't know how to fix it.

*does test photo* Yep, that was it. God, I feel stupid. :p Had it on for some photos, and off for others. Duh.

Yep I agree with angriestangel. It looks like you've got the macro setting on. The macro setting is for taking close up photos of small objects. The macro setting loses focus the farther you are from your subject. That's why your flower pic looks good, your kitty pic is slightly out of focus and your tree pic is completely out of focus.
