One good thing...

...about the latest round of politicians getting caught with their pants down, celebrities dying, and chaos in the Middle East: The now former Miss California has disappeared. :D Hopefully she will stay in obscurity for, well, ever!

I'm just as surprised and saddened by Michael Jackson's sudden death as most other people, but come on, media! Enough is enough. There was just too much coverage today...even on CNBC!

I was quite annoyed about Rachel Maddow being pre-empted by a Jackson special tonight until Keith said she'd already planned to take tonight off. They really just need to make Kent Jones her guest host; I can't stand Ariana Huffington and Andrea Mitchell is a bad fit.

Ana Marie Cox was supposed to fill in for Rachel tonight. Was looking forward to that!

Hadn't heard that. Could have been much better than the past guest hosts!

That's my thoughts too...yes, his music was nice, but I can't see why he's being considered Elvis Presley's equal, either. He wasn't THAT good...in my opinion, anyway.

This is the same media that took great pleasure in all of his misfortune later in life. (Most self induced of course.) Now they treat him like a saint, in death, when they didn't give a rat's ass about him a few days ago. Gotta love the hypocrisy.
