*sighs*

20 years ago I graduated from high school. I just got a Facebook link to info about our reunion. Wish I could go, but there's no way I can afford it this summer (and that's about the time I'll be going to New York anyway). Maybe I'll make it to the 30th...

High school was a mix of fun and terror for me! There are a lot of people I'd like to catch up with (and two I've talked to on Facebook, at least), but there are others I'd like to avoid.

I miss Colorado. I'd love to go back and see how old Broomfield High is doing. :p

I was one of the biggest nerds in high school, and thoroughly enjoyed my 10 year reunion. Other than ONE person, everyone was nice (and everyone agreed that the one person didn't realize we were 10 years out of high school).

So, those others you'd like to avoid - I bet they're not nearly as bad as you think. They're just normal people, just like you, trying to lead their lives. They have families and jobs (or no families or no jobs), but they're only thinking of getting through their own lives, and not really worried about what happened 20 years ago.

Maybe a 25 year reunion? I'd say it's usually 10, 20, then 25 years.

I graduated in 1965...no one ever contacted me about any reunions until our 40th one. I was all set to go; even bought a new dress, then found out that, in addition to the 45 dollars just to attend, it would cost me 93 dollars to get a ride for me and my wheelchair...no way could I afford that!

They told me they have one every year, still, but no one has contacted me since, either. I'd really like to see what's become of all those people. We had 500 students in my class.

Oh well.
