This is weird...

A few months ago, I was able to listen to a radio show on BBC's iplayer, which is normally blocked in the U.S. I have never figured out why that happened, because I wasn't using a proxy. Now I wish I could duplicate that just for one show on BBC2!! I can't make proxies work on my computer, so that's out of the question. And I can't find the show on a torrent, either. (I hate using those, but I only do it for shows I'll never get to see otherwise.)

Anyone have an idea what happened when I was able to use iplayer that one time? It's just so weird that they somehow couldn't see I wasn't in the U.K.!

I think you can use the iplayer for radio shows all of the time, but never for TV. Could be wrong though.

I concur with the above - I've always been able to listen to BBC radio when in the US, but not watch TV.
