Not that I'm complaining or anything...

...but does Benedict Cumberbatch get naked in every movie or miniseries he does? :p Nice bum. Too bad we won't get to see it on Sherlock!

Sorry, just browsing through some Ben-centered YouTube channels, and really starting to appreciate this guy's talent (though I really, REALLY hated him in Atonement).  Must get my hands on the DVD of To the Ends of the Earth, at least...just for the scenes here: community.livejournal.com/sherlockbbc/307762.html#cutid1 . Oh, my. (NSFW!!!)

Martin Freeman seems to like getting naked on screen, too. Oh, boy, does he ever. And leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination.

I am beginning to understand all the slash fiction for Sherlock/Watson thanks to the series!

I must be better. I'm in a fangirl squee-ing mood.

Wow, I've watched TTEOTE a couple of times and read the books, and I don't even remember that scene. When was it? And what on earth was he doing?

PBS must have edited it heavily. He was washing his clothes, if you can believe that!

Maybe so. I own the DVDs. Hmm. Maybe there's a different British version of the discs, since the American discs are probably the Masterpiece version. Orrrr, maybe I just have a bad memory. I do remember him WANTING to wash his clothes, and complaining about the salt, and telling Lt. Summers that he thought the bar of sea-soap was a rock, and being surprised that it didn't have any scent, and Summers being amused that he seemed to think all soap was automatically scented.

So have you seen it? It's really good! He's not very likable, but he does a great job acting the role. I read the books too, and loved them, and appreciated his acting even more. He plays a character that one thinks is a clueless idiot, but at the same time one is forced to identify with him in his clueless idiocy.

Also, Jamie Sives and JJ Feild are handsome.
