I've seen five of the nine Best Picture nominees. I'm really rooting for The Artist! I loved it. I also hope Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer win Best Actress and Supporting Actress (respectively) for The Help. Jessica Chastain was pretty awesome in The Help, too- wouldn't mind if she won over Octavia!
I'm going to see Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy tomorrow- so I'll have an idea whether or not Gary Oldman should win Best Actor over George Clooney. :p
I'm definitely looking forward to the AMC Oscar marathon- I missed Moneyball and Midnight in Paris when they were in theaters, and I wanted to see The Artist, Hugo, and The Descendants again anyway. I'm not sure about Tree of Life or Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (the reviews for that one were terrible!).
War Horse doesn't have a chance, as good as it was. The Help was good largely because of the acting, not really Best Picture material on its own.
I was disappointed that Shailene Woodley wasn't nomination for Supporting Actress for The Descendants. :( She was so good as George Clooney's daughter.
